The report of the European Commission on gender inequalities places Italy in the last places among Europen countries in the high tech sector (twenty-fifth out of twenty-nine) and highlights how gender stereotypes must be addressed long before women enter the working space, targetting school age girls and encouraging their interest in the technology sector..

hackher_ wishes to contribute increase the percentage of professional women by adopting creative and innovative solution with a project that involves 10 cities throughout Italy to bring the female gender closer to the STEM world, eliminating cultural gaps and legacies that condition and limit access of women in the IT world.

hackher_ sponsored by the European Parliament and supported by major brands and institutions pursues ideals of inclusion by fighting all forms of gender discrimination and is aimed at anyone who believes that it is important to leave a society founded onequality and equal opportunities.
