Sandra Mori
Former European DPO at Coca-Cola, board member of Politecnico di Milano and Fondazione Milano
A professional life between the United States and Italy, with her heart in Tuscany and a passion for IT and women's rights, especially in the professional and work environment. Sandra Mori, who was also the president of ValoreD from 2016 to 2019, is a lawyer and served as the European Data Protection Officer at Coca-Cola until June 30th of last year.
Graduated in Law in Pisa, then specialized at Yale University. After 10 years of freelance work in Italy and the United States, in 1999 she became the Head of Legal Affairs at Microsoft for Southern Europe, coordinating, among other things, all anti-piracy activities. In 2001, she joined the Legal Department at Coca-Cola as the Director of Legal Affairs for Italy. Enthusiastic and determined, she held increasingly important roles until being appointed, in January 2010, as the European General Counsel (the first woman and first European citizen to assume this role). In May 2018, with the implementation of the GDPR, she took on the role of DPO, reigniting her passion for IT and exploring new ways to manage legal issues through the use of technology.
Attorney Mori is currently a board member of the Politecnico di Milano and Fondazione Milano Scuole Civiche and is part of the scientific committee of "Italian Legal Tech".
