Anna Vaccarelli

Technologist at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the CNR Pisa and Head of External Relations at Registro.it.

Graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1984, she is a Technologist at the National Research Council (CNR); since 2004, she has been the Head of External Relations, Media, Communication, and Marketing for Registro.it, managed by the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the CNR. Since 2010, she has coordinated and promoted an initiative to spread internet culture in schools, with workshops ranging from primary to secondary schools through the Ludoteca del Registro.it. She is one of the founders of the Internet Festival and the coordinator of the Festival's Executive Committee. From 2003 to 2016, she was a member of the board of the Assosecurity cybersecurity association, and from 2007 to 2011, she served as its Vice President. She has been a lecturer in Cybersecurity courses, the scientific director of national and international projects, and the co-author of over 100 scientific and technical publications.

In December 2021, she received the award for Best IT Professional of the Year from the Associazione Informatici Professionisti. She has been a member of the Women for Security Executive Committee since 2020 and a member of the Clusit Scientific Committee since 2022.
